We live in an instant kind of world today.  You can learn about something that happened in the community 5 minutes after it happens on Facebook.  No need to wait till the newspaper comes out!  I think as librarians we need to embrace this instant, ever-changing means of communication.  I personally can’t wait to start a blog that could possible bring new patrons to our library to read the books I’ve posted about.
